The new news here at It Goes Like This is, Doris Roberts and Jack Betts have started a contribution campaign to help the children in New York City who have been removed from their homes and forced onto the street. Why? Because they were gay. 4,000 of them. To help this very important cause, Jack has offered $5 from each admission of “It Goes Like This” to be donated to the Ali Forney Center, an organization founded to handle this very urgent problem. Go to our new page here on the site called: GAY ORPHANED CHILDREN in NEW YORK to get more information. And thank you Jack and Doris!

It Goes Like This
There is a new page on the website. It is dedicated to the lengthy and quite varied career of our writer/director Jack Betts. He also spent 7 years in Italy with the stage name “Hunt Powers.” When he was there he made, among other films, 21 Spaghetti Westerns! There is quite a bit more to that story, and to the other amazing productions Jack has been involved with in his career of over 80 performances spanning over 50 years of Broadway, film, television and singing.
